Dafarn Newydd land is orginally part of the historic Tregarneth Estate and is located next to Coleg Menai on the periphery of Llangefni but within walking distance of Llangefni centre.

The proposal land is within a beautiful parkland setting with a thick belt of tall trees and thick hedgerows along Penmynydd Road providing natural screening from public gaze.

The site elevates from 25m to 50m above sea level but is masked by a thick tree belt along Penmynydd Road and and around its' boundary. This is a truly mature landscape environment.

The proposal would retain all existing trees and hedgerows but would introduce further landscaping and lakes within the development along with the semi orbital highway that runs through the development.

We believe there is significant cross-pollination between businesses potentially locating at Dafarn Newydd and Coleg Menai as the major local educational facility.

As the initial phase is only 10 acres of office development there is plenty of expansion land for future growth.

Cwmni Tref Llangefni the equivilent of the local chamber of commerce are fully supportive of StMalo's proposals at Dafarn Newydd.

The Welsh Assembly Government have carried out a "land classification study" and have confirmed that the majority of 59 acre holding is "Subgrade 3a" hence there is no loss of top quality agricultural land. A copy of this report is available in the download section.
